VINILE - ELVIS: AMERICAN SOUND SESSIONS 1969

Questa è la copertina del doppio vinile dal titolo "Elvis - American Sound Sessions 1969" che verrà pubblicato da Sony Legacy in occasione del Record Store Day di Novembre 2019.
Il 1969 è stato un anno importante per Elvis Presley. Fresco del successo del " '68 Comeback Special", un Elvis rivitalizzato lavora agli American Sound Studios, con il produttore Chips Moman ed un gruppo di musicisti locali.
Da queste sessions nasce "From Elvis In Memphis", uno degli album più amati della sua carriera, e successi come "Suspicious Minds" (il suo 18° ed ultimo disco in cima alle classifiche) e "In The Ghetto". 
"American Sound Sessions 1969", disponibile per la prima volta su vinile, presenta rare ed inedite outtakes provenienti da queste sessions leggendarie.

RECORD STORE DAY 2019: I MIGLIORI VINILI

A pochissimi giorni dal Record Store Day 2019 - 13 Aprile - Variety ha stilato la classifica dei "25 Best Record Store Day". 
Elvis Presley, con l'album "Live At The International Hotel, Las Vegas - 23 August 1969" è entrato nella classifica.
In particolare è stato recensito con queste parole: 
"Il cosiddetto speciale ritorno di Elvis viene giustamente riverito. Quello che è accaduto subito dopo, un po' meno. Ma c'è un imminente box CD dedicato alla prima serie di spettacoli che ha fatto a Las Vegas, quando ancora cavalcava quel luogo speciale che ha rappresentato la sua prima serie di live in 11 anni, che mira a dimostrare che Elvis a Las Vegas è stato inizialmente una cosa bellissima.
Prima del nuovo cofanetto del 1969, hanno pubblicato uno spettacolo completo in due LP appositamente per il Record Store Day, ed il prototipo per la TCB Band è ancora tanto fumante quanto Presley è ancora in gara".
