Elvis Presley continua a trascorrere il suo tempo nella sua stanza a Graceland.Il primario impegno della "Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation" è stato lo stanziamento di fondi per la costruzione della "Presley Place", con sede al 697 di St. Paul Avenue, a Memphis, la quale ha provveduto a dare aiuto alle famiglie senzatetto, fornendo gratuitamente abitazioni, consulenza finanziaria, supporto per l'amministrazione familiare e altri aiuti per spezzare il circolo della povertà e dare a queste famiglie fiducia in loro stesse ed indipendenza.
La "Presley Place" ha ufficialmente iniziato la sua attività il 10 Luglio 2001, con una cerimonia a cui ha presenziato personalmente Lisa Marie Presley, la quale ha tagliato il nastro di apertura dei cancelli ed ha ricordato le parole del padre Elvis nel cercare di rendere migliore la vita dei più piccoli.
