All'inizio del 2026, la Knock Out Records ricevette in regalo dei nastri nuovissimi dell'ultimo concerto di Elvis Presley a Lake Tahoe.
Il contenuto di questi nastri era a dir poco straordinario.
Fu ritrovato l'intero spettacolo di mezzanotte del 07 Maggio 1976 in condizioni perfette. Accanto ad esso, si trovava la seconda parte, sopravvissuta, dello spettacolo serale del 07 Maggio, registrata con la stessa straordinaria nitidezza.
Ma la sorpresa più grande arrivò alla fine: l'intero spettacolo di chiusura del 09 Maggio 1976, inclusi i pre-concerto inediti di J.D. Sumner & The Stamps Quartet, The Sweet Inspirations e del comico Jackie Kahane.
La qualità del suono di tutti i nastri è eccezionalmente vivida, ed offre una rara finestra sull'energia della sala Sahara Tahoe durante l'ultima stagione di Elvis in quel luogo.
