Insieme alla sua band si esibisce al McMahon Memorial Auditorium di Lawton, in Oklahoma, alle ore 20.00 ed al Southern Club di Lawton alle ore 23.00.
Il prezzo del biglietto per lo spettacolo delle ore 20.00 è 1.25 dollari.
23 GIUGNO 1956:
Anche oggi Elvis Presley, insieme alla sua band, si esibisce al Paramount Theater di Atlanta, in Georgia, alle ore 12.35, 15.15, 17.30 e 20.30.Un trafiletto a pagina 34 dell'Atlanta Journal-Constitution del 22 Giugno, pubblicizzava l'arrivo di Elvis ad Atlanta e gli spettacoli.
"Si esibiranno con lui una varietà di artisti, che consistono in 16 coristi, musicisti e comici".
Una recensione a pagina 6, nella giornata di oggi, recita: "Elvis Presley è arrivato ad Atlanta Venerdì, si è esibito in 3 spettacoli al Paramount Theater ed una delle sue camicie di jersey da 15 dollari è stata strappata dalle fans entusiaste. L'artista del rock'n'roll ha ricevuto un benvenuto che egli ha definito "grandioso" per il suo arrivo ad Atlanta dalla sua città di Memphis. Si è esibito davanti al teatro pieno per tutti e tre gli spettacoli Venerdì. La maggior parte degli spettatori erano ragazze adolescenti.
Presley ha cantato sette dei più famosi brani rock'n'roll, inclusi "Heartbreak Hotel" e "Blue Suede Shoes", in ognuno degli spettacoli di Venerdì. Era vestito con una giacca verde, pantaloni neri, camicia di jersey bianca, cravatta nera e scarpe bianche/nere.
Lo accompagnavano due chitarristi ed un batterista. Presley aveva una chitarra al collo durante l'esibizione, ma non l'ha suonata. E' stato preceduto da uno spettacolo di varietà che includeva i Jordanaires, un gruppo canoro che ha realizzato un certo numero di dischi con lui".
Guralnick e Jorgensen hanno scritto a riguardo: "I Jordanaires, che Elvis ammirava da tanto tempo, sia come gruppo indipendente che come quartetto di coristi gospel, si sono uniti al suo spettacolo. Elvis aveva espresso il desiderio di averli dietro a lui come coristi durante lo spettacolo di Eddy Arnold a Memphis alla fine del 1954 e, successivamente, espresse il suo dispiacere quanto Chet Atkins fallì nel convincerli a lavorare con lui durante le sessions a Nashville, usando solamente Gordon Stoker, insimee a Ben e Brock Speer".
La RCA pubblica il singolo "My Wish Came True/A Big Hunk O' Love".
Il lato A rimane due settimane alla 1^ posizione della classifica Billboard Hot 100, mentre il lato B si piazza alla posizione 12.
Elvis Presley è ancora a Parigi insieme a Lamar Fike, Rex Mansfield e Charlie Hodge.

Sul set del film "Girl Happy" viene festeggiato, con 3 giorni di anticipo, il compleanno del Colonnello Parker, a cui hanno partecipato vari amici.
Al termine della fotografia principale del film "Frankie and Johnny", Elvis regala dozzine di orologi da polso ai colleghi attori ed alla troupe. Gli orologi, disegnati da lui personalmente, sono stati creati dal gioielliere di Memphis Harry Levitch.

La RCA pubblica l'album "On Stage - February 1970", che raggiunge la posizione 13 sia nella classifica Billboard 200 che nella classifica Country.
Viene certificato disco d'Oro il 23 Febbraio 1971 e Platino il 15 Luglio 1999. Nel 1999 la BMG ha pubblicato nuovamente l'album con l'aggiunta di 6 canzoni; nel 2010 è stata pubblicata l'edizione Legacy Edition.
