Il quarto album di Elvis Presley venne pubblicato in Ottobre 1957 ed aveva come titolo "Elvis' Christmas Album". Questo album fu una mossa molto intelligente da parte della casa discografica di Elvis ed anche il Colonnello Parker, probabilmente, ha avuto la sua parte di merito di questo capolavoro commerciale.
La custodia conteneva un libretto di 12 pagine con immagini molto belle scattate durante la lavorazione del film "Jailhouse Rock". Questo album fu davvero una bella cosa per tutti.
Secondo la Record Industry Association of America (RIAA), l'album, con le sue ristampe, è ritenuto il più venduto disco natalizio di tutti i tempi.
Radio Recorders vi porta un CD in cui si trovano 27 masters e versioni alternative provenienti dalle sessions di incisione con l'aggiunta di canzoni bonus.
Di particolare rilevanza sono le outtakes di "Peace In The Valley" e "It Is No Secret", prese dai nastri originali, nelle quali si ascoltano alcune battute in studio e che non sono mai state pubblicate prima con questa qualità. Le versioni precedenti fornivano una qualità piuttosto bassa. Tutte le registrazioni sono state accuratamente restaurate e rimasterizzate.
