Il Volume 1 della serie "Summer Festival" presentava 5 spettacoli dal suo "Summer Festival" a Las Vegas in Agosto del 1971.
Questo set, che gli fa seguito, contiene altri 3 concerti della stessa stagione e contiene molti momenti salienti, come la bellissima ballata di Kris Kristofferson "Help Me Make It Through The Night", che Elvis ha cantato solamente due volte durante questo ingaggio.
"It's Impossible" di Perry Como è stata cantata da Elvis per la prima volta in Luglio 1971 durante un concerto a Lake Tahoe. La canzone è diventata una costante nella scaletta in questo ingaggio di Agosto e poi è apparsa nuovamente in scaletta solo a Febbraio 1972.
La sempre potente "It's Over", forse meglio conosciuta dal celebre "Aloha From Hawaii" debuttò a Luglio 1971 ed è presente in questo set.
Sapendo che non sono ancora emerse incisioni soundboard, queste registrazioni del pubblico mostrano tutto quello che possiamo goderci.
Tutte le registrazioni sono state accuratamente rimasterizzate e restaurate.
